LA Fit’s Core Values: Keep It Real

LA Fit’s core values. You’ve seen them on the wall, in the lockers and on our newsletters!

  • Make Time
  • Be Fun
  • Keep It Real
  • Lead The Pack

As we celebrate our 9th birthday, we’ll share one of our core values and what it means to us.

KEEP IT REAL

With us, there is no bulls#!t.

We say what we see. We are honest. Perfectly imperfect. We always do our best, but own it when we make mistakes, and we’re a safe space for you to do the same.

We are in this with you.

If you’re struggling in class, or to get to class in the first place, let us know! We can offer advice to keep you moving. Results come from consistency, and consistency comes from feeling successful.

On the flip side, if you’re ready for a challenge, take it! Be honest with where you’re at and the body you’re in, because it can feel different on any given day.

Life is complex.

We are here to encourage you to find balance in your life. To find the right ‘mix’. To make good choices that ultimately lead to change.

If something is too hard, it won’t get done. So if in doubt, K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple, stupid.)

Fitness professionals, coaches, mentors, friends. Whatever we are to you, we are always here to help you strip things down to basics, to guide, listen, and support you.

Keeping It Real with Team LA Fit

Jaz:  To remind myself that life is about being real. Others around me love me for exactly being me. Being real.

Tiffany: When we keep it real with our clients, they reciprocate and we can build real caring relationships. Coming to class should be more than just a chance to move the body but also to let go of stress and worries. I’ve had clients come in and tell me openly that they are hungover or even still drunk! I’ve had multiple clients cry when sharing openly what is going on in their lives. It honours me to be able to hold space for someone in this way. It is nice to know that LA Fit creates such a safe space for our clients to be who they are and show up as they are and that so get to support them.

Kristy: Unpretentious, no judgements, honesty, being raw / vulnerable and true to yourself & others around you, avoiding the fake & pressure to conform, being authentic & content on your own journey.
