Ariarna Bartulovic was born at 24 weeks, weighing a tiny 675 grams. She was only given a 1% chance to survive the first hour of her life. Ariarna, like many others, was kept alive thanks to special care and literally life saving equipment. This year, Ariarna will be Running for Premature Babies at the New York Marathon to raise funds for premature and critically ill babies.
Running for Premature Babies is a special running group set up in 2007 by a very inspiring mum, Sophie Smith, after losing their first-born triplets following an extremely premature birth. To keep the spirit of her boys alive and ensure something good came from their lives, the Henry, Jasper and Evan Smith Trust Fund was created by the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation to support the vital equipment and research needs of the Royal’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit where they were born. Since 2007 this incredible charity has raised over $1.5 million, helping more than 1,800 babies.
Ariarna is a longtime friend of Beau from One FHL and a huge fan of both HIIT and Lagree. When we joined forces to deliver MegaOne, our one hour sweat session for charity, it was only fitting that we rally behind our gorgeous client! We are thrilled to be supporting this incredible cause and help Ariarna achieve her fundraising goals
