Momence FAQ

We are excited to announce that from 25 March 2025, LA Fit is transitioning our bookings and client communications from Mindbody to Momence!  

We’re always looking for ways to improve your experience! Momence gives us more flexibility, faster booking, and easier communication — all designed to make your fitness journey smoother and more fun. 

Here’s everything you need to know. 

I’m an existing client - how do I access my account?
  1. Reset your password here. 
  2. Log in using your email and new password. 
  3. Don’t click “Sign Up” – your account already exists! 
Which app should I use?

Download the new LA Fit app: 

You can also book via our website. 

Bookings via the orange Mindbody Marketplace app and old LA Fit Studio Pty Ltd app are no longer supported. You can delete them. 

Updating your personal info

We’ve already created your account and transferred your packages, bookings, secure payment details and visit milestones. 

  • Enable notifications so you never miss a beat! Go to Account → Settings → App Settings.
  • Go to Account → Your Name → edit Photo to upload your photo so we can welcome you.
  • Add your birthday so we can help you celebrate! 
Can’t log in via browser?
  • Clear cache/cookies, restart your browser
  • Try a different browser or incognito/private mode 
  • Disable any browser extensions 
  • Still stuck? Reset your password here and check spam/promotions folders for the email 
Can’t log in via the app?
  • Make sure you’ve downloaded the new LA Fit app (NOT the old LA Fit Studio app or Mindbody app. You can delete these.) 
  • Reset your password here and check spam/promotions folders for the email

Payment cycles
  • You can now book up to 8 weeks ahead!  
  • Tick “Auto-book me into the entire class series” when booking to secure a recurring spot in your favourite classes.
  • Unsure of your payment cycle? Go to Account in the app.
Had an offset activation?

Your next billing date is now your cycle renewal date. If you’d like to update your billing/renewal date please let us know. 

Making bookings
  • Make new bookings in just a few clicks on the app!
  • To filter the Class Schedule by Location, tap the Filter icon in the bottom right. The app will remember your settings.
  • Upcoming bookings and your history are easily visible on the app Home screen.
How does the waitlist work now?

Day time & evening classes: 

  • If a spot opens more than 2 hours before class, you’ll be automatically added in the order you joined the waitlist. If you can’t attend, remove yourself to avoid losing the credit.
  • If a spot opens within 2 hours, everyone on the waitlist gets a text. The first person to reply gets the spot.

Early morning classes: 

  • Due to the demand: If a spot opens after 9pm the night before class, everyone on the waitlist gets a text. The first person to reply gets the spot. 
  • Waitlist stays active until 30 minutes before class starts. 
Complimentary member Guest Passes

Momence makes it easy to book a friend in with you!

  • Subscription members receive a complimentary Guest Pass every 4 weeks for new client referrals 
  • In the app, tap Book Now on the class → Invite Guest → enter their details → Continue to finalise both bookings. 
Paying for Guests
  • Want to pay for a friend to join you? Book your class → Add Someone Else at checkout. 
  • Got lots of mates? You can reserve multiple spots! 
Sharing the love is now easier than ever!
  • In the app, tap the LA Fit icon → Refer and Earn icon  → share your Unique Referrer Link to invite your friends to LA Fit!
  • Score a free class for every friend who attends their first paid class!
  • (All Access and Platinum members receive a $20 credit) 
New to LA Fit? What to Expect

You’ll receive an Intake Form via email and text after your first purchase. This helps us tailor your experience. Please arrive 15 minutes early to your first class so we can give you an equipment tutorial and show you around the studio. Remember your grip socks! 

Please note – for safety reasons you will not be permitted to join the class if you are late! In the event that this happens please message us on the app so we can help you re-book. 

What if I miss my class?
  • Early Cancel (8+ hours) = credit returned, rebook anytime.
  • Late Cancel (under 8 hours) = credit used. 
  • No Show = $15 fee.
    If you ever miss or late cancel a class, you’re welcome to walk in for another class that day (subject to availability). ClassPass not eligible for walk-ins. 
Arrivals and departures

Please arrive early — even one minute late may mean your spot is given away or the door is locked. Can’t make it? Please cancel so we can give your spot to another member. 

Please keep showering and changing short and sweet as studio access is limited to 15 minutes before and after classes.
