So thrilled to share with your help we raised $1,459.95 at Ranger Ride for the Sumatran Ranger Project! Over the weekend of 23 & 24 October, 84 riders showed their support for this wonderfully wild cause.
Our member Jenna Hollmaby was all smiles collecting the cheque from Claire to give to this great cause.
These much needed funds raised will go toward motorbikes for the rangers, allowing them to more easily patrol the area monitoring illegal activity as well as providing community outreach and education.
“Having the support of the wider community makes a world of difference to community conservation projects like Sumatran Ranger Project. We are a grassroots, locally driven programme dedicated to helping support forest edge communities and provide positive outcomes for both wildlife and people. Having different communities get behind our team and value the work they do empowers and inspires them to continue to strive to protect the environment they so love.
We are totally reliant on the generosity and support of incredible people like you and we thank you so very much for your amazing effort with Ranger Ride at LA Fit! The collective power that we as individuals have to make a positive impact on the world cannot be underestimated and we appreciate you all so very much.” Amy Robbins, Sumatran Ranger Project
